Our Savior’s Church and School will be hosting Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace
University, a nine week course starting Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 9:30 am. FPU
Membership (accessible online) is $109/ family for life. That price includes the kit
for the class and grants you access to any and all subsequent FPU classes you
choose to attend.
Financial Peace University (FPU) isn't just about getting out of debt, saving money,
and growing a healthy retirement fund. Although those are all goals of the
curriculum, FPU isn’t really about money at all. It’s about living and giving according
to God’s design, strengthening your marriage and teaching your kids, leaving a
legacy and being the change agent in your family tree. Basically, it’s about learning
what to do with everything God has entrusted into your care.
FPU teaches what most American families are missing in their personal finances:
A Plan. This class covers the “what” and the “how,” but if you want to make positive change in your finances, it might help to consider your own personal “why.”
Do you want stay home with the kids? Retire early? Get on the same financial
page as your spouse? Or maybe you’d like your kids to attend college debt free.
Whatever your reason for wanting to make a change, this class is sure to help

Is this a investment or insurance product?
-NO! The class is a safe space from selling or advertising of financial “products”. This class is to give
you financial knowledge. It will equip you to make sound financial decisions and to manage your
household budget.
Does the church make money by hosting this class?
-No. When you register and buy your life time membership/kit through the Financial Peace Website,
that is yours. You can attend at any local class and attend as many times you want, that is what
you bought.
How much does it cost and what do I get?
-The Financial Peace University Kit is $109, it includes lifetime membership and on-line access.
You can go through this class as often as you want. Inside the kit is your workbook, Dave Ramsey’s
book, the envelop system, a confidential folder to transport your personal budget and the 9 week
course audio on downloadable mp3/iTunes.
Do you have to have internet access to attend class?
-Yes and no. Yes, you would want to have internet access to fully use your membership and
register at http://www.fpu.com/1066680 . No, we believe in this mind set of living and will work
with anyone who is ready for a new way of thinking and wants to attend the class.
Why don’t I just buy the lessons and do it on my own?
-How has the going alone thing worked so far for you? It is not just about having the knowledge
of what you should be doing it is about being around like minded people that are ready for a change
and are just sick and tired of not having a plan. The world feeds off of the “I can do it on my own”
mentality. The power of sharing the struggles in our life and hearing that you are NOT alone is
freeing of it’s self.
Who attends this kind of class?
-Everyone!! It is advertise on the Dave Ramsey website under “search for class”. This makes
it open to the community also. This class is teaching the common sense way of living all explained
in layman terms. We are just one of many churches hosting this life changing class.
When do I have to register by?
- You have until 2 days prior to class to make your life changing decision.
What do I bring to the class?
- For the first class bring the whole kit. Your FPU activation Code sticker will be on the kit
somewhere, it is important!!
Will there be childcare?
-Yes. In the launchpad, 5 and under.
